Liverpool attacker Dirk Kuyt - Enjoying Football again

Liverpool atacker D. Kuyt believes he is in his best of best form since moving to England almost 5 years ago. The Netherlands international struck his 8 goal in the last 7 matches in yesterday's three-zero win over Newcastle United, becoming only the 7th Reds players to score in 4 successive Premier League games in the process.
Two of those may have been from the penalty spot but a look at his wider record - he have twelve goals in his last thirteen matches in all competitions, including 2 internationals - backs up the player's belief that he has rediscovered the form which persuaded then manager Rafa Benitez to pay Feyenoord £10m back in the Summer of 2006.
Dirk Kuyt - Playing Football in Action
'The last time I had a run like this must have been in Holland, where I scored quite a few,' said the hard working Dirk Kuyt who, despite turning thirty one this July, i.e. 2011, was given a new contract at Anfield last month in recognition of his efforts. 'At the moment things are going well, I have scored in the last 4 games now which is nice to do.
'My confidence is high but that is also to do with the management and my team mates. I think the confidence of every player is high at the moment, because everyone is doing well. It is the quite same for me. I am feeling much much better than I did at the beginning of the season and I am enjoying playing football once again.'
Despite being prolific in Dutch football, Dirk Kuyt was converted into a right sided midfielder by Benitez because of his outstanding work ethic and has had limited opportunities to play as a centre forward. The departure of Fernando Torres in January and an injury to £35m club record signing Andy Carroll has afforded him more chances up front, and he has seized the opening.

Indeed, his partnership with Liverpool's other transfer window arrival, Luis Suarez has already shown signs of being one worth pursuing. The Uruguayan won the second half penalty from which Kuyt scored and theDutchman repaid the favour by laying on the pass for the twenty four years old to score the third against the Magpies and secure a win which lifted Liverpool up to 5th.
'It is great to have him here. Luis is doing very well so far and I am very happy to play alongside him,' added Dirk Kuyt. 'It is great to have a player like him in the team. He is always moving always trying to create something and the moment he gives you the ball he is already on the move again to get it back. It makes it so much easier for you.
'Everyone could see we had problems earlier in the season, but then things changed and everyone can see that when you add two best quality players to a team then things can change.'

Lars Bender - Leverkusen

Bayer-Leverkusen (BL) came from behind to keep their great Bundesliga title hopes alive with a vital 2-1 win over struggling St Pauli. Charles Takyi gave the visitors the lead in the fifty seventh minute and some seconds, but Stefan Kiessling deservedly levelled nine minutes later. Lars Bender earned Leverkusen the win with thirteen minutes remaining to move them within five precious points of league leaders Borussia Dortmund with 5 (five) games of the season left to play.
Lars Bender Leverkusen - Scoring
Michael Ballack squandered the first chance of the game in the twelfth minute, powering his effort too close to St Pauli goal keeper Benedikt Pliquett.
Arturo Vidal has missed an even easier chance in the thirty eighth minute and some seconds when he was given time and room to shoot on the edge of the six yard box next being picked out by Tranquillo Barnetta, one of the team player but he did not find the target. St Pauli took the lead against the run of play when Florian Bruns' cross was met by Takyi at the near post and he managed to divert the ball beyond the reach of Fabian Giefer into the far corner.
The goal stung Leverkusen and they responded immediately. Sidney Sam was rightly adjudged to be offside from Barnetta's pass when he played his shot in off the underside of the crossbar in the sixty first minute and some seconds.
Kiessling levelled five minutes later, though, rounding off an excellent team move involving Gonzalo Castro and Eren Derdiyok, who ripped the St Pauli defence apart.
Ballack got closer to scoring with two successful kicks, the 1st just missing the post and the 2nd pushed away by Pliquett, before Bender put the home side in front in the seventy seventh minute and some seconds.

His kick wriggled just under Pliquett and trickled over the line to earn Leverkusen all three points.

Bosnian Football Federation Suspended (Exclusive Update)

The Bosnian (Bosnia-Herzegovina) Football Federation (FFBH and NSBIH) has been crushed and dismissed until any new notice by Fédération Internationale de Football Association Federation and Union of European Football Associations as-of today, This news belongs to 1 April 2011. The decision was necessary as the General Assembly of the FFBH did not adopt the statutes according to Fédération Internationale de Football Association and Union of European Football Associations requirements.

The governing and action Committees of Fédération Internationale de Football Association Federation (28th  Oct 10) and Union of European Football Associations (4th Oct 10) have requested the FFBH to adopt the hard statutes according to Fédération Internationale de Football Association Federation and Union of European Football Associations less requirements by no later than 31st  March 11, other wise the FFBH would be automatically crushed or dismissed.
The FFBH GA (General Assembly), held in Sarajevo (an state) on 29th  Mar 11, didn’t acheve the necessary quorum of suport to adopt the FFBH statutes, with only 22 out of the 54 delegates present voting in favor of amending the FFBH statutes. As a result, the FFBH has lost all of its member ship rights with immediate impact and until further action. The FFBH front desk and club groups are no longer entitled to take part in international tournaments as of 1st Apr 11 and until the aforementioned issues are resolved. It also seems that, as of 1st Apr 11, no FFBH executive or rep. may participate in any international tournament or get together.

Fédération Internationale de Football Association Federation and Union of European Football Associations deeply regret that this action had to be taken and will meet shortly to discuss the further steps required, to try to bring the FFBH support into the football leagues or families as-soon-as-possible.
